Cosmopor® silicone is a sterile quick wound dressing that can be removed gently thanks to a skin friendly perforated silicone adhesive layer. It does not stick to the wound or surgical sutures, but still provides strong support. The quick wound dressing is cuddly and cushioning, breathable and water repellent at the same time. In addition, Cosmopor® silicone has a high absorbency and high retention performance. The viscose wound pad absorbs wound secretions and passes them on to the superabsorbent fibers. The exudate is permanently trapped there so that it can no longer get back into the wound. The quick wound dressing enables gentle care of skin with high demands.
