HydraLock SA™ is a super absorbent primary or secondary wound dressing with a comfortable, non-adherent contact surface and a protective waterproof backing that prevents strikethrough. Rapidly absorbs wound exudate by wicking it into the super absorbent polymer core which expands as it gels. This locks in the excess moisture, minimizing the risk for maceration while supporting a moist wound environment conducive to autolytic debridement, normalization of wound bed temperature and the formation of granulation tissue and epithelialization. HydraLock SA™ must be secured in place with tape or other preferred securement methods.
