Doran's DS8150 is a digital chair scale specifically designed to deliver ease of mobility and operation. The strong steel frame provides a very durable chair scale capable of weighing patients up to 550 pounds. Patient weights are clearly visible on an easy-to-read LCD display. The scale's four full-swivel wheels feature a convenient locking mechanism. The highly maneuverable chair scale can be rolled near the patient, then locked in place for an easy and safe weighing of the individual. To secure the wheels, simply press down on the locking arms. To release the wheel, press down on the release arm. Unlike most two locking swivel casters scales on the market today, our super-secure Four Corner Locking System ensures the safety of the patient as well as ease of movement in tight spaces. For optimum patient safety, we have engineered some unique features. The anti-tip bar at the bottom of the foot rest prevents the patient from accidentally tipping the chair scale forward while seated by leaning too far forward or when they enter/exit the scale. The large foot rests can be folded up and out of the way when the patient enters and exits the scale, then folded back down for the weighing. Similarly, the padded arm rests fold up and out of the way to allow patients to slide onto the scale from the side of their bed or wheelchair. The arm rests can then be folded back down. Our exclusive Weight Lock feature ensures an accurate weight is displayed regardless of a patient's movements. Lock in the preferred weighing units with our Units Lock feature. Reweigh functionality allows a second weight to be acquired while the patient remains on the platform. The DS8150 is EMR Ready and data can be transmitted via either the included USB, RS-232 or optional WI-FI.
